¢135m invested in National ID programme since January – Finance Minister

Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam announced significant digitalisation efforts to revive Ghana's economy, involving every citizen.

Since January 2024, approximately GH₵135 million has been invested in the national identification programme, crucial for enhancing economic participation and efficiency.

Presenting the mid-year budget review, Dr. Amin Adam emphasized the government's commitment to economic revitalization and digitalisation. He assured that progress would be maintained, focusing on fiscal consolidation, prudent expenditure management, and improved revenue mobilisation.

He highlighted the importance of stakeholder engagement, which has provided valuable feedback and bolstered cooperation, contributing to the stabilization and development of the economy.
