2024 Elections will be free, fair and peaceful; I will hand over presidency to the peoples’ choice – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo has reassured Ghanaians that the December 7, 2024, elections will be free, fair, and peaceful, pledging to hand over power to the winner chosen by the people.

Speaking at the Anlo Hogbetsotso Za festival on November 11, he thanked the people of Anlo and Ghanaians for their support during his tenure, emphasizing the importance of peace for national progress.

The President, who is touring the country to express his gratitude as he prepares to leave office, acknowledged the unity displayed by the chiefs and community members gathered at the festival to celebrate Anlo heritage and Ghana’s cultural diversity.
