2024 Polls: Traditional Council distances itself from Cynthia Morrison’s independent candidacy

The Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council has publicly disassociated itself from Agona West MP Cynthia Morrison's decision to run as an independent candidate in the December 7 election.

Omankrado Nana Ekuful IV clarified that the Council neither supports nor encouraged her independent bid and warned Morrison and her aide, Kofi Osei, against involving the chiefs in their campaign.

Regent Nana Kweku Esieni V also urged all candidates in Agona West to conduct respectful, peaceful campaigns without involving traditional authorities.
