A/R: Atwima Kwanwoma residents decry deplorable road, threaten to boycott December elections

Residents of Kyekyewere, Bekwame, Asempa, and Kotwi in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region are facing severe challenges due to the poor condition of their roads.

The neglected roads have become hazardous, especially for pregnant women needing to access healthcare, leading to complications during delivery.

The road project, awarded to Kofi Job Construction Limited in 2008, has been abandoned, leaving the area with broken drains and impassable roads.

Frustrated residents are threatening to boycott upcoming elections if the government does not take immediate action to repair the roads.
