A/R: Two juveniles remanded over alleged killing of 16-year- old boy

The Asokwa District Court has remanded two juvenile girls in connection with the alleged murder of a 16-year-old boy in Anloga, Oforikrom Municipality, Ashanti Region.

The incident reportedly occurred on November 4, 2024, following an altercation in which the primary suspect, a 16-year-old girl, allegedly stabbed the victim.

A 15-year-old girl is also charged with abetment.

The court charged the main suspect with murder and causing injury, while the second suspect faces abetment of murder charges.

The deceased’s brother, Victor Owusu-Ansah, expressed faith in the judicial process, as the court denied the suspects’ bail.

The next hearing is scheduled for November 20, 2024.
