AG did no wrong even if… – Lawyer on Richard Jakpa’s claims [Audio]

Private legal practitioner Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah defended Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame in the ongoing ambulance procurement trial, stating the AG cannot be blamed for any wrongdoing.

Awuah explained that the AG is allowed to use anyone as a witness if they have relevant information, even if they are involved in the crime.

This defense follows allegations by the third accused, Richard Jakpa, that the AG called him to implicate Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.

Awuah emphasized that the AG’s actions do not influence the trial's outcome, which is determined by the judge. The AG has denied Jakpa's allegations.
