AMA to distribute 2,000 street lights by August 25

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) will distribute 2,000 new street lights across Accra by the end of the week to address concerns about malfunctioning lights and improve nighttime safety.

This announcement was made during a Public Financial Management Town Hall Meeting on August 20, 2024.

Mayor Elizabeth Naa Kwatsoe Tawiah Sackey highlighted the AMA’s commitment to enhancing residents’ lives through various projects, including new classrooms, a childcare center, and dual desks for schools.

She urged residents to support the government’s efforts and assured that public funds are being used effectively.
