The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has firmly denied allegations from MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa regarding a $38.2 million contract with Access Services Ghana Limited for visa application management.

Ablakwa claimed the contract was dubious and lacked Public Procurement Authority approval.

In response, the Ministry called these allegations misleading, clarifying that the agreement allows Access to provide premium visa services at an agreed fee, benefiting Ghana's diplomatic missions financially.

The Ministry emphasized that this arrangement aligns with global standards for visa processing, similar to services provided by companies like VFS Global and TLSContact.
