Accept Akufo-Addo's nominees for the various MMDAs - NPP urge members

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked their supporters and all other stakeholders to accept in good fate, persons who will be nominated as Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).

Addressing journalists on Friday, September 17, 2021, the Director of Communication of the party, Yaw Buaben Asamoa asked all to accept the nominations.

“We expect all stakeholders, especially party executives at the grassroots level, to accept the list that will be released in good fate.”

“Every nominee on the list is selected by the President, and we expect party grassroot executives to trust his judgement and support the approval process for these nominees.

"Of course, not everyone will have their preferred choice, however, we believe that as much as possible every eligible candidate must have had a fair bite of the election process.”
