Accra-Tema Motorway: Accident involving Toyota Tundra and trailer truck causes major traffic

An accident on the Tema-bound side of the Accra-Tema motorway involved a Toyota Tundra, a Benz 207 passenger vehicle, and a trailer truck.

The Toyota Tundra, reportedly from the office of the president and driven by a mechanic, was hit by the trailer truck while stopped to ask for directions.

The collision caused the Tundra to veer into the left lane, hitting the Benz 207.

The incident, which occurred around 8 am on Saturday, resulted in minor injuries to several individuals and caused a traffic jam, forcing vehicles onto the shoulder of the road towards Tema.
