Accra is the 7th most expensive city to live in Africa, according to Numbeo, with an index of 32 out of 100.

Numbeo's index considers rent, groceries, restaurants, cost of living plus rent, and local purchasing power.

South Africa has four cities in the top 10: Johannesburg (1st), Pretoria (2nd), Cape Town (3rd), and Durban (5th). Lagos, Nigeria, is 4th, and Casablanca, Morocco, is 6th.
