Actor Lil Win granted GH¢50K bail

Actor Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lil Win, has been granted GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court after his arrest on June 3.

Lil Win was arrested by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department shortly after being discharged from the hospital.

The arrest relates to a recent accident he was involved in that resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy. Charged with dangerous driving and negligently causing harm, the prosecution is still investigating.

Lil Win's lawyer argued for bail due to his injuries. The case is adjourned to June 27, 2024.
