Adabraka robbery getaway vehicle tracked to Ashaiman

Police have identified and tracked a Toyota Highlander, used in Saturday’s robbery at an Adabraka jewelry store, to Ashaiman in Greater Accra, Graphic Online reports.

Security agencies released images of the vehicle, with registration GN 7357-19, as it left the crime scene and moved across various locations before reaching Ashaiman Zenu.

Eyewitnesses described how the robbers fired into the air, causing panic among shoppers and vendors who scrambled for cover. The assailants then seized large sacks of cash from the Corolla’s boot and quickly fled.

The police have launched a manhunt to capture the suspects and bring them to justice. They assured the public of their commitment to locating the robbers and intensifying security efforts in the area.
