Afenyo Markin accused of leading thugs to attack NDC communicator

The Effutu constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is accusing the Member of Parliament for the area Alex Afenyo Markin of unleashing thugs to attack the party’s communications director.

The communicator according to the party is said to have passed a comment on a local radio station at Winneba last Saturday during the morning show programme which Afenyo Markin described as an attack on his person even though the said communicator didn’t specifically mention Afenyo Markin name .

The victim, according to the party was only calling for an intensive investigation into some deaths in the area which he believes could be as a result of internet fraud which some big wigs in the area may be backing the perpetrators.

Addressing the press at Winneba, the party’s constituency secretary Emmanuel Oboi Baiden called on the security agencies to call the MP to order failure of which they will also avenge such attacks which they explain isn’t the first allegedly perpetrated by the MP and his thugs.

The MP according to the party is fond of assaulting people who tend to disagree with him on issues with many have suffered many injuries in his hands even within his own party the NPP.

Hon. Afenyo Markin has not been available for comment on the allegations leveled against him.
