Airbus scandal: OSP identifies Mahama as GO1 but cleared of any wrongdoing

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has identified former President John Dramani Mahama as "Government Official 1" in the Airbus scandal.

Mahama’s brother, Samuel Mahama, was also identified as "Intermediary 5."

However, the OSP found no evidence that Mahama was involved in corruption or any wrongdoing related to the Airbus-Ghana deal.

The investigation revealed that Mahama's interactions with Airbus were motivated by good intentions, and his brother's involvement was coincidental.

The scandal, which involved bribery allegations, had previously been investigated by UK and US authorities.
