The main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reappointed Nana Akomea as Director of Communications.
He will be assisted by a former National Youth Organiser Anthony Karbo and ex-acting Communications Director Perry Okudzeto, a source close to the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition disclosed to StarrFMonline.com.
“It’s true. An announcement will be made soon. The party believes this is a solid team to enhance its message to the public,” the source said.
StarrFMonline.com also understands that two others have also been appointed to support the Communications outfit of the party.
Akomea was previously in charge of the communications directorate of the party before making way for Okudzeto, who has been acting until he was axed a few months ago.
Akomea is a former Member of Parliament for Okaikoi South and a Minister of Employment and Social Welfare under the John Kufuor administration.
