President Nana Akufo-Addo, his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia were among a tall list of persons who received awards on the night.

Also, political parties such as the governing New Patriotic Party, the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, and Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom's Progressive People's Party were all honoured for their roles in ensuring a rather vibrant and balanced political landscape in the country.
