Akufo-Addo has been most committed leader in galamsey fight – Enoch Afoakwa

Enoch Afoakwa, a member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) communications team, praised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his strong commitment to combating illegal mining, known as galamsey.

Speaking on Channel One TV's The Big Issue, Afoakwa highlighted the numerous military interventions sanctioned by the president to clear illegal miners, noting that no other leader in the Fourth Republic has shown such political will.

He mentioned recent military operations in the Eastern and Central regions, where several mining equipment were destroyed as part of efforts to address the illegal mining crisis.
