Akufo-Addo presents Constitutional Instrument to delegations from Ahafo & Bono East Region

President Akufo-Addo has presented a Constitutional Instrument (CI) to delegations from both newly created Ahafo Region, and Bono East Regions.

The president noted that the presentation of the CI signifies the official creation of those new regions.

He made the revelation in different posts on his Facebook page on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, as sighted by YEN.com.gh.

For the Ahafo Region, Goaso has been chosen as the capital city, while Tachiman has been chosen as the capital for Bono East Region.

“On Wednesday, 13th February, 2019, I presented the Constitutional Instrument (C.I. 114) to the delegation from the Ahafo Region, signifying the official creation of the Region. Goaso has been chosen as its capital, "the president announced for Ahafo Region on Facebook.

The president has disclosed in many earlier reports that the creation of the new regions were important.

According to him, the exercise would ensure that development is attained in all areas of the country.

Other new regions have also been created in the Volta Region and the Northern Regions.
