The Akwamu Traditional Council has firmly opposed the proposed renaming of the Adomi Railway Station to Juapong Station, pledging to resist the change through all lawful means.

Paramount Chief Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III emphasized the council's stance during a Channel One News interview at an emergency meeting at Bogyawe Palace on October 31.
