Akwatia chief predicts Mahama’s return to power will mirror Donald Trump’s comeback

Nana Barfuor Annor, the Ankobeahene of Akyem-Boadua, has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to intensify grassroots campaigning to help John Dramani Mahama return as President.

He praised Mahama’s resilience and commitment to Ghana, comparing his comeback to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s.

Speaking at a rally, NDC’s Dr. Edward Omane Boamah expressed confidence in Mahama’s plans, including a 24-hour economy, youth apprenticeship, and improved access to tertiary education.

He also criticized the Akufo-Addo administration for neglecting local roads.

Akwatia MP Henry Boakye Yiadom highlighted his achievements in health, education, and community development, seeking support for re-election.
