Alan promises to review nursing training allowance to make it sustainable – KOD

During his Caravan Tour in the Central Region on October 4, 2024, Kwame Owusu Danso (KOD), Vice-Presidential candidate of the Afrafranto Alliance, has energized nursing students with his outline of healthcare policies from Alan Kyerematen’s Great Transformational Plan (GTP).

KOD criticized the current Nursing Training Allowance (NTA), pledging reforms to make it sustainable and beneficial for students.

He introduced the Health Booth policy, aiming to create 100,000 health sector jobs, and proposed community clinics to be co-owned by nurses and doctors, empowering health professionals as entrepreneurs while improving healthcare access across the country.
