All NDC MPs endorse Mahama for 2024 flagbearership - Report

Information reaching Rainbowradioonline.com indicates that all the 137 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament have endorsed former President John Dramani Mahama as a candidate for the 2024 presidential election.

Our sources told this website that the MPs believe the former President is the best bet for the NDC in 2024 because of his unprecedented record.

From what the sources told us, the MPs say they could not have won their seats without the record of Mr. Mahama.

They explained that the MPs campaigned on the record of Mr. Mahama and are of the view that, he must be elected as presidential candidate for the party.

Meanwhile, the sources said that the reports that Duffour would be contesting in the presidential primaries would not be successful.

The sources further told us that Dr. Duffour would be humiliated should he contest Mr. Mahama.

Some party persons have alleged that he is being sponsored by the ruling government in an attempt to prevent Mr. Mahama from representing the party.

Some party persons who want to remain anonymous have advised him to rescind his decision in contesting because he will not win.

According to them, Mr. Mahama will win the 2024 polls massively as compared to any other candidate.

In 2018 a member of the NDC, Kobby Fiagbe slammed Dr. Duffour claiming that he (Duffour) helped the NPP to get Mr. Mahama out of office.

He said despite his role in making the NPP win, they turned their guns on him.

He also told him that the seeds of betrayal once sown begets betrayal because betrayal has never begotten fidelity.

The former President has over the past weeks toured some regions as part of his ‘Thank You Tour.'
