Ama Governor called to the bar

Elorm Ababio, known as Ama Governor has been officially called to the Bar during the 2024 Mini Call ceremony at the Accra International Conference Centre on May 31, 2024.

Her journey was marked by significant challenges, beginning with a complaint in November 2022 accusing her of conduct unbecoming of a bar applicant.

This led the General Legal Council to halt her bar admission, resulting in a year-long struggle to clear her name.

Ama Governor consistently maintained her innocence. A breakthrough occurred when the Ghana Bar Association allowed her to complete her application.

Her successful call to the Bar has been widely celebrated.
