Justice Srem-Sai, a private legal practitioner, has criticized Attorney-General (AG) Godfred Yeboah Dame's approach to the ongoing ambulance purchase trial, questioning his commitment to a fair prosecution.
This follows the AG's office revealing pressure to drop the case and releasing plea bargain details involving the third accused, Richard Jakpa.
Jakpa alleged that Dame sought his help to implicate Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson. Despite Jakpa’s plea bargain request, the AG rejected it.
Srem-Sai argued on Citi TV's "The Big Issue" that the AG's actions, including publicizing plea documents, indicate a lack of intent for fair prosecution.
