Ambulance case: CDS, military secretary to testify on discharge of Jakpa from GAF

Major General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, Chief of Defense Staff, and the Military Secretary are set to testify in the ongoing ambulance trial.

They will address documents from the prosecution indicating that Richard Jakpa was dismissed from the military in 2007 for poor performance and failing promotional exams.

Jakpa's lawyers argue these documents aim to discredit him as he defends himself in the trial involving Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.

Dr. Ato Forson, Jakpa, and the Ministry of Health's Chief face charges for allegedly causing a financial loss of €2.37 million by purchasing unfit ambulances for the Ministry of Health.
