The Supreme Court granted seven extra days for the Speaker of Parliament's lawyers to submit their defense in a case challenging the anti-LGBTQ+ bill.

Both the Speaker and the Attorney General missed the original deadline.

The Speaker’s lawyer explained the delay was not out of disrespect.

The Attorney General's office stated they need Parliament’s fiscal analysis of the bill before filing their defense.

Richard Sky's lawyers did not oppose the extension, emphasizing that the delay was not their fault.
