Anti-LGBTQ+ case: Speaker of Parliament given seven days to file statement of defence

The Speaker’s lawyer explained the delay was not out of disrespect.

The Attorney General's office stated they need Parliament’s fiscal analysis of the bill before filing their defense.

Richard Sky's lawyers did not oppose the extension, emphasizing that the delay was not their fault.

The case can only move forward after all defenses are filed.
