The Minister for Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has ordered contractors to repair the deteriorating ground roads at the Nungua Interchange, which has worsened due to the stalled Nungua Interchange project.
The project's delay is attributed to ongoing IMF negotiations. During a site visit, the Minister directed contractors to focus on repairing the ground roads to facilitate smooth commuting and commercial activities, pending the project's resumption and completion.
The government has also engaged a contractor to rehabilitate 19 kilometers of roads in Nungua, which will bring relief to the area's residents.
