Asymptomatic COVID-19 patients will, henceforth, be discharged 14 days after the initial positive test, Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye has said.
While symptomatic patients “will do 14 days after testing positive and if you are without symptoms, you are discharged after three days without symptoms.”
The new guidelines for discharging COVID-19 patients was announced on Thursday, 18 June 2020 at a press briefing at the Ministry of Information.
