Atebubu-Amantin and Biakoye DCEs resign

The Ministry of Local Government has announced the resignation of two District Chief Executives (DCEs): Edward Owusu of Atebubu-Amantin in Bono East and Millicent Kabuki Carboo of Biakoye in Oti Region.

Their resignations are in line with Section 20(3)(c) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936). The reasons for their resignation were not disclosed.

The Ministry has directed the respective Regional Ministers to temporarily oversee their duties until new appointments are made.

The Ministry also thanked the outgoing DCEs for their service and contributions.
