Awutu Bereku Shooting: Suspect remanded as victim's family condemns NDC for politicizing incident

The Awutu Ofaakor District Court has remanded Akwesi Lartey Junior, who mistakenly shot one person in Awutu Bereku.

Lartey appeared before the court on Thursday and will reappear on September 13, 2024.

After the court session, Nana Yaw Asamoah, a relative of the victim, Ato Odoom, criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for politicizing the incident.

He clarified that Ato was not affiliated with any political party and warned NDC's Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunor to stop politicizing the matter, holding her responsible for any further consequences.
