The Awutu Bereku District Court has remanded Cassius Otoo Larbi, the Communications Officer for the NDC in Awutu Senya West, and two others for threatening an eyewitness.
The three are accused of removing campaign posters of NPP parliamentary candidate Eugene Kofi Bentum Arhin from a machine used in a road project.
They are set to reappear on September 16, 2024.
MP Gizella Tetteh Agbotui criticized the case as "petty," while District Chief Executive Moses Arhinful Acquah emphasized that the issue centered on the threats made to the eyewitness, not just the poster removal.
