Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election: I’ll deliver justice for victims – Mahama

John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has promised to deliver justice for victims of the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence.

He criticized the government's failure to implement the 2019 Commission of Inquiry's recommendations.

The by-election violence occurred after the death of MP Emmanuel Kwabena Kyeremateng Agyarko in November 2018.

During a visit to a victim in Fadama, Accra, Mahama assured that the next NDC administration would address the victims' plight, sanction those responsible, and ensure compensation is paid to the injured, which has not yet been done.
