Parliament has adjourned its sitting on Monday, July 15, 2024, due to a lack of quorum, with only 24 MPs present.
The Minority had threatened to disrupt proceedings if the Majority failed to ensure sufficient attendance.
The Speaker, Alban Bagbin, adjourned the sitting after a headcount confirmed the insufficient number of MPs.
The disruption hindered the planned presentation of the Ewoyaa Lithium and Bauxite agreement by the Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh Dompreh.
