Bambwa Group releases book titled ‘Who’s Who in Ghana’

The book is Ghana The book is Ghana

Who are the current movers and shakers of Ghanaian society? This mission did two friends almost a decade ago put upon themselves, as they’ve experienced how much societies around the World are built on people and the networks surrounding them.

The two friends are today leading Bambwa Group, an investment company (VC) with the main office in Accra with activities and interest in media and publishing.

The release of the book signifies the first milestone. The book and the first big milestone is released on Monday, December 16th as Ghana’s first and most comprehensive compilation of leaders and achievers dubbed ‘Who’s Who in Ghana’. A reference publication containing the biographies and profiles of over 500 prominent people who have attained remarkable successes in their fields of endeavor and have impacted the lives of Ghanaians and humanity in general.

The publication will look at influential ‘leaders’ from different categories such as the religious leaders, statesmen, creative, business, political, media, power ladies and the most influential. A crown is our motif because we believe in the excellence they have chalked and the royalty our honorees represent. The unmatched commitment and dedication to making Ghana a better place deserves our commendation and celebration.

This is just the beginning of an ambitious mission that aims to bolster Ghanaian greatness. Which includes building tools that will elevate the Ghanian society and improved leadership capacity. High achievers and rising talent can learn from accomplished leaders via our publications, online tools, and networking events as well as an upcoming leadership conference.

Shedding light on the idea behind the publication and the ambitions that go along, Nana Fredua Dankwa, the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bambwa Group in Ghana, states that ‘Who is Who in Ghana’ has been put together “to inspire the future generation to aspire for success and greatness in whichever endeavor they find themselves.”

According to him, “oftentimes, the backgrounds and stories of most of our national leaders and achievers are lost due to our inability to effectively document such biographies.” “Our goal is thus” he continued, “to provide a single reference source from which the profiles of these national heroes can be studied and to help set a benchmark for celebrating national achievers.” “A country without a credible recognition system is a country that does not inspire nationalism, dedication, and commitment from its citizenry,” he says.

“It is against this background that ‘Who’s Who in Ghana’ has been put together to celebrate our heroes and inspire the millions of budding talents that our country is endowed with” he adds.

The CEO further added that ‘Who’s Who in Ghana’ and the tools to come will help boost the economic development of the country and attract foreign investment as it will serve as a pinhole through which the external world can get to learn and research about the backgrounds and profiles of Ghana’s leaders and influencers. This, he says, will instill trust and credibility in the country’s leaders.
