Oliver Barker-Vormawor, convener of the Democracy Hub protest, has been granted bail of GH¢20,000 with two sureties after being arrested on September 23, 2024, along with 52 others for allegedly causing public disturbances.

He faces charges including stealing, unlawful assembly, and assault on a public officer.

Initially denied bail by the Accra Circuit Court and later remanded by the High Court, his lawyers successfully reapplied for bail.

He is required to report to the police twice a week while awaiting trial.
