Lawyer Agbambilla Ziyerley Maxwell, representing the Bawku Naaba, reported that recent violence in Bawku has claimed at least 15 lives, with eight deaths in a fresh attack on October 27.
During this incident, assailants set roadblocks in Gbimsi and Walewale, targeting individuals based on their identities.
Agbambilla criticized the Attorney-General for not issuing a new arrest warrant against Alhaji Seidu Abagre after his previous one was revoked by a Kumasi High Court on October 17. He expressed the Bawku Naaba’s displeasure over Abagre's return, citing security concerns.
