Bawumia cautions security agencies to guard against Misinformation, Disinformation

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has cautioned against the dangers of misinformation and disinformation, emphasizing their potential to disrupt national development, particularly as Ghana approaches its December presidential and parliamentary elections.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Bawumia praised the military's role in maintaining Ghana's democratic integrity and urged vigilance against fake news that could incite unnecessary actions.

He highlighted the evolving nature of security threats and commended the military's efforts to adapt to these challenges, urging graduates to collaborate to protect peace and security across Africa.
