Bawumia is willing to sign galamsey pact – Miracles Aboagye

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign, announced that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer is committed to signing a pact against illegal mining, or galamsey.

Aboagye emphasized Dr. Bawumia's dedication to addressing the issue, noting his extensive visits to mining sites over the past six months to assess the situation.

He stated that Dr. Bawumia has developed specific strategies to combat galamsey and is open to any necessary agreements.

This statement aligns with the Media Coalition Against Galamsey's call for both the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take decisive action.
