The Deputy CEO of MASLOC, Obidombie Kwabena Asamoah, has criticized Ghana's current tax regime as confusing, endorsing a simpler, flat-rate system proposed by NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Asamoah believes the proposed tax reforms would enhance business stability and predictability, particularly benefiting small businesses and importers.

He emphasized that MASLOC, which supports small businesses through loans and skills training, stands to gain significantly from these changes.

Asamoah also revealed plans to digitize MASLOC's operations to boost efficiency and sustainability, further aiding poverty alleviation efforts.
