Brain drain: Migration is good but it must be organised – Mahama

NDC flagbearer John Mahama has called for a more organized approach to exporting Ghanaian talent abroad, addressing concerns about the current economic-driven migration of professionals.

Speaking at a town hall meeting in Accra, Mahama emphasized that while migration is not inherently negative, it should be structured to ensure an effective exchange of value.

He advocated for government collaboration with foreign countries in need of short-term labor, ensuring that Ghanaians return with enhanced skills and experience, thereby benefiting the country in the long run.
