CETAG demands immediate implementation of awards amid strike

The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has vowed to continue their strike until their arbitral awards are fully implemented.

Despite the financial strain from missing July and August salaries, CETAG remains resolute.

Fedelis Kamai from CETAG's Communications Directorate criticized the government's lack of action in court regarding their demands, accusing them of merely making media statements without real progress.

Although CETAG does not support school closures, they are ready to resume work once their demands are met.

The strike began on June 14 over delays in implementing agreed-upon service conditions and remuneration packages.
