CID invites Accra FM presenter over Hopeson Adorye’s dynamite detonation interview

The Accra Regional Police Command has asked Class Media Group’s Accra FM to release host Nana Otu Darko for questioning regarding statements made by politician Hopeson Adorye during an interview.

Adorye claimed the governing NPP directed him to use dynamites in the Volta Region to intimidate NDC supporters during the 2016 elections.

He was arrested, charged with publishing false news, and granted bail at GH¢20,000.

The CID requested Nana Otu Darko’s cooperation to provide context and verify Adorye’s statements, asking him to report with the program's audio and video recordings on May 24, 2024.
