CLOGSAG calls off strike

The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has ended its strike following productive discussions with government representatives, including the Office of the Senior Presidential Adviser, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations (MELR), and the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) on July 12, 2024.

Both parties committed to resolving salary structure issues for civil service and local government staff.

The government assured that the finalization of the salary structure will be completed by October 31, 2024, and implemented from January 1, 2025.

Consequently, CLOGSAG has called off the strike immediately.
