CLOGSAG suspends planned nationwide strike

The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has temporarily suspended its planned nationwide strike, which was set for September 25, 2024.

The decision follows an invitation from the National Labour Commission (NLC) for a meeting to address the concerns outlined in CLOGSAG’s strike notice dated September 17, 2024.

CLOGSAG has directed all regional secretariats to stop any strike-related activities until further notice.

Members are advised to await updates following the meeting with the NLC.

The notice was signed by Executive Secretary Isaac Bampoe Addo, urging members to remain patient.
