Cape Coast North NPP PC petitions Akufo-Addo to remove UCC governing council chairman

Horace Ekow Ewusi, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Cape Coast North, has petitioned President Nana Akufo-Addo to remove Professor Harold S. Amonoo-Kuofi as chairman of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) governing council.

Ewusi claims Prof. Amonoo-Kuofi's actions are disrupting the university, driven by a personal agenda, and not in the institution's best interest.

He accuses the chairman of autocratic behavior, unilateral decision-making, and causing tension and division within the university, including conflicts with major unions and attacks on Vice-Chancellor Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong.

Ewusi emphasizes the negative impact on UCC's reputation and governance.
