Certified voters register for 2024 elections expected early November – EC Chair

The Electoral Commission (EC) will release the certified voter register for the 2024 general elections in the first week of November.

EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa, made the announcement at an Inter-Party Advisory Committee meeting on October 15, 2024.

She assured stakeholders that the register will include all eligible voters from the 2020, 2023, and 2024 registration exercises, with any discrepancies resolved.

The EC is committed to ensuring accuracy and transparency in the electoral process. Mensa emphasized that recent efforts have improved the voter register, fixing issues identified during previous exhibitions.
