Chamber of Commerce, Kinapharma bosses donate to Countryside Children's Welfare Home

Managing Director of Kinapharma Ghana Limited, Kofi Nsiah-Poku and President of Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso have donated massively to Countryside Children’s Welfare Home.

Items donated include food stuff, pharmaceuticals, drinks, water, toiletries and money.

President of Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nana Dr Appiagyei Dankawoso I revealed that, he has been supporting some orphanages in the country as part of his social responsibility and to fulfil God’s assignment of taking care of orphans.

Through his support, some orphans have been able to access education and are now enrolled in tertiary institutions across the country.

He described the action as soul satisfying and encouraged others to contribute to the development of the less privileged.



“I considered this idea about eleven years ago and the Lord revealed to me that there are three areas he wants me to take care of and one of them is the orphanage home and since then, I celebrate all my birthdays with them. I have adopted some children and I pay their school fees including those in the universities, polytechnics and the Senior High Schools. It’s a pleasure and soul satisfying to come to their aid “, he said.

Nana Dankawoso called on all to contribute their quota in the upbringing of the children because, “It is our duty and our call to make sure we bring them out of the dungeons by coming to their aid”.

Managing Director of Kinapharma Ghana Limited, Kofi Nsiah-Poku also presented GHC5,000 to the Headmaster of Countryside Children’s Welfare Home to enrol the children onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).



He promised to provide first aid and free medical screening to the children in the orphanage in the first quarter of every year.

“On behalf of Kinapharma and Healthy Life, we present these drinks and amount of 5,000 cedis to do the registration for everybody on this compound for the National Health Insurance. Every first quarter, I’ll come and give them first aid. All the minor ailments they would have, they will use the products that I brought before they go the hospital,” he stated.

He urged all to visit orphanage homes in the country and contribute to the welfare and development of the children who may become great national assets.
