Charlotte Osei being victimized because she’s a woman - Leila Afua Djansi

Award-winning movie director, Leila Afua Djansi, claims Electoral Commission (EC) boss, Charlotte Osei is being hounded out of office simply because she is a woman.

Mrs Osei and her deputies are facing a five-member committee set up by the Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo to probe allegations of abuse of power that have rocked the commission in recent times.

However, the “Sinking Sands” director believes Charlotte Osei is the main target of the whole investigation because she’s a woman.

Ms Djansi posted the statement below on her Facebook page Tuesday:

Poor Charlotte Osei.

Just because you’re a woman.

Just because you’re a beautiful married woman and they can’t accuse you of being a whore to temper their pride and insecurities.

Just because you’re a smart and firm woman.
