Workers of the Produce Buying Company (PBC) in Ghana have protested at the Ashanti Regional headquarters of Cocobod over unpaid salaries.

Union Vice Chairman Seth Adusei, speaking on JoyFM, warned of demonstrations if their demands were not met.

He highlighted the financial struggles of 33,000 employees and their families and urged President Akufo-Addo to address the issue.

Adusei also called for an investigation by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) into alleged mismanagement of funds from the Sample Residue Fund, claiming millions of cedis had been misappropriated, worsening the employees' plight.
